England's Wayne Rooney scored in the 48th minute to secure a 1-0 win over Ukraine, which eliminated the Euro 2012 co-host. France progressed as Group D runner-up despite losing 2-0 to Sweden, whose forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic struck a stunning volley in the 54th. Sebastian Larsson scored in the 90th minute.
