Guangzhou Evergrande hoped Brazilian league MVP Dario Conca served out his contract or his new club would have to pay no less than 10 million U.S. dollars for his transfer. The newly crowned Chinese Super League (CSL) champions celebrated their double triumphs in the top-flight league and the CFA Cup Tuesday night when club boss Xu Jiayin set the price on a possible Conca move. "We paid transfer fee when we signed players. We can negotiate (with other clubs) if they would like to pay an equal amount or even high," said Xu during the celebration where the Argentine midfielder was absent. Conca became Chinese professional soccer's record signing when he inked a three-and-a-half year deal with Evergrande in 2011 and the move turned the Argentine into one of the richest players in the world. It was reported that Conca has made up his mind to go back to his former club Fluminense who had made a bid of 8.5 million U.S. dollars to Evergrande. Conca already made the transfer request to Evergrand in July.
