Seattle's Michael Gspurning and Real Salt Lake's Nick Rimando combined to make seven saves Wednesday while leaving the teams with an 0-0 draw. With both clubs having clinched a post-season berth, they played to the first scoreless tie in MLS since Sept. 29. Salt Lake, which has just one game remaining in its regular-season schedule, advanced to 56 points -- eight behind Western Conference leading San Jose. Seattle is in third place in the conference with 53 points. Gspurning had to do most of the goaltending work after Seattle went a man down 30 minutes into the game. Zach Scott was dismissed from the contest after picking up his second yellow card of the evening. Gspurning turned aside a shot by Sebastian Velasquez in second-half stoppage time to preserve his share of the shutout.
