Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez insists he can live with being a "super-sub" as long as his side win the Bundesliga. Gomez is no longer guaranteed a starting place at the Allianz Arena after missing the early part of the season through injury, but insists lifting trophies is more important than his personal position. "I really only have one big objective and that's winning the Bundesliga title. Everything else is less important to me," Gomez told Bild. "I will be more than happy if I have to come off the bench 10 more times or so this season as long as we end up winning the league title." One bookmaker has already paid out on Bayern winning the title after they opened up an 11-point lead over Bayer Leverkusen, but Gomez - who has scored seven goals in all competitions despite his limited opportunities - added: "It's too soon to congratulate us with the title, though. "We know that we have to remain focused during the second half of the season." FIFA
