Hoffenheim have today extended the contracts of Sejad Salihovic and Tobias Weis until 2016.The pair, whose previous deals were up for renewal in the summer, have both been with the club since their arrival in the Bundesliga with Salihovic even joining the club while they were in the third division in 2006.He would make it a decade of service by fulfilling the new deal which he signed today."Weis and Salihovic are two cornerstones of our team," said coach Markus Babbel on his club's website. "I am pleased that we have been able to convince them (to sign). They play a leading role in our plans."Furthermore, they both embody Hoffenheim in a small way and the fans identify with them, and that should not be forgotten."Weis arrived one year later than Salihovic in 2007, helping them to promotion to the top flight in his first season with the club.He has made a total of 101 appearances while Salihovic, who was suspended for two games earlier this season by Babbel due to indiscipline, has totalled 181 appearances, scoring 47 goals.
