The 30-year-old is keen to play a part during the London summer Games, while also retaining hope of featuring for the full England international side again in the future.On-loan Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole has revealed his desire to represent Team GB at the Olympics. The 30-year-old, currently plying his trade in France at reigning champions Lille, is aiming to make an emotional return to East London, where he started his career, to represent Great Britain in this summer’s Olympic Games.Team GB will find out their fellow group members in Tuesday's draw, and Cole has admitted his desire at being part of the world's biggest sporting event."The Olympic Games in London are very important to me as I am a pure Londoner," said Cole."A lot of the competition will be in East London where I started my career."Alongside his desire of featuring in the tournament, the former West Ham man has not ruled out a return to the full international side, with the European Championships looming this summer."I have not heard anything about playing for England," he added. "I would like to play for my country again but going to the European Championship will depend on the name of the new coach."I would be delighted to play against France and be a spy to give some information to the English team."
