Central Coast Mariners claimed top spot in the A-League with a 1-0 away win against Wellington Phoenix. Daniel McBreen scored the only goal of the game which took the Mariners into top spot by virtue of a better goal difference than Adelaide United. United, who like the Mariners have 13 points, were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Perth Glory who now lie fourth in the table on ten points. Billy Mehmet gave the visitors the lead after 43 minutes but Dario Vidosic earned United a share of the points when he netted four minutes into the second half. From : Fifa
