Andy Murray's first match since his tearful Wimbledon final defeat ended in disappointment as the British number one and his brother Jamie lost 5-7, 7-6 (8/6), 7-5 against Austria's Jurgen Melzer and Alexander Peya in the first round of the Olympic doubles on Saturday. Murray was back at the All England Club 20 days after sobbing on Centre Court following his four-set defeat to Roger Federer in the Scot's first Wimbledon final. The chance to go for gold with his brother had persuaded Murray to enter the doubles, but the duo blew a one-set lead on Court Two and the world number four will now turn his attention to his bid for a medal in the singles. Murray is scheduled to start his singles campaign against Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka on Centre Court on Sunday.
