Palermo take Sorrentino from Chievo

Chievo goalkeeper Stefan Sorrentino has joined Serie A strugglers Palermo after both clubs agreed to the deal. Sorrentino has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at the Sicilian team until June 2016. He is set to be unveiled later on Friday at Palermo, who sit second from bottom of Serie A with 16 points from 21 games.
