Paris Saint-Germain never had to find top gear as they cruised to victory against Toulouse to maintain their unbeaten Ligue 1 record. Javier Pastore's goal gave the home side a half-time lead at the Parc des Princes. And Zlatan Ibrahimovic ensured their second-half dominance was rewarded with a second goal. The two goalscorers were both involved as PSG carved out the first chance of the game, Pastore freeing Ibrahimovic to dribble through the defence and get away a shot which was saved by the feet of Ali Ahamada. Toulouse have started the season brightly themselves and the in-form Wissam Ben Yedder tried his luck from 20 yards, but keeper Salvatore Sirigu dived full-length to save. But the hosts took the lead seven minutes before half-time as Marco Verratti put Pastore in behind the defence and the midfielder calmly lobbed Ahamada. Jeremy Menez had the chance to double their advantage five minutes after half-time when he was set up by Ibrahimovic, but his shot from a narrow angle was saved by Ahamada. Pastore and Ibrahimovic linked up again two minutes later but the Sweden striker's 25-yard drive was also saved. Ben Yedder was the only player carrying a serious attacking threat for Le Tefece, but he was again denied by Sirigu after being set up by Serge Aurier. And they fell further behind when Ibrahimovic, not to be denied, rounded off a wonderful counter-attack involving Verratti, the impressive Pastore and Menez. Defender Alex almost netted a late third from Nene's corner, but Etienne Capoue cleared the Brazilian's header off the line. From Fifa
