Borussia Dortmund have confirmed defender Lukasz Piszczek has signed a contract extension to keep him at the club until June 2017. The Poland international has been at Dortmund since 2010 after joining from Hertha Berlin, winning the Bundesliga title in both his seasons at the club. The 27-year-old told the club's official website: "I have only been playing in Dortmund for two years and in this time I have grow to totally understand the football culture, the club and the fans. "It is a great recognition and commitment for me to be allowed to play in the coming years for this special club and this exceptional team." From Fifa
