West Bromwich Albion have re-signed Macedonia defender Goran Popov on another season-long loan from Ukrainians Dynamo Kiev, the English Premier League club said Tuesday. The 28-year-old's move back to the Hawthorns, where he also spent last season on loan, is dependant on international clearance. "It was always our intention to get Goran back over the summer," said Baggies manager Steve Clarke. "He knows what the club's about and we know what he's about. He's a good player and it makes sense to bring him back. "He understands the Premier League better now as well and we will look for even more from him next season." Should the deal be ratified, Popov will become West Brom's second summer signing following the capture of former France striker Nicolas Anelka, who was a free agent after spending the second half of last season at Juventus.
