Sampdoria striker Eder Martins has been sidelined for two weeks after suffering a left knee sprain in the 3-0 derby defeat to Genoa on Sunday. Eder, who has scored once for Delio Rossi's side this season, is set to miss three upcoming Serie A games against Cagliari, Roma and AC Milan. "The striker will have to sit out 10-15 days before returning to full training," said a statement on www.sampdoria.it. Sampdoria sit fourth from bottom of the league with one point following a draw and two defeats. Source: fifa.com
