ulian Schieber has left Borussia Dortmund after just two seasons to join Bundesliga rivals Hertha Berlin for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old striker was unable to make a breakthrough in the Dortmund side following his arrival from Stuttgart in 2012 and made just 35 league appearances for the Westphalians, scoring three goals.
"I would like to thank the coaching staff, my fantastic Dortmund team-mates and the amazing fans who have always supported me for these fantastic two years," Schieber said.
"I've learnt a fair bit from Jurgen Klopp, trained at the highest level on a daily basis and even got to play in a Champions League final. These are things which will live on in my memory and I leave on good terms, which I'm also very pleased about."
Schieber has already undergone a medical in the German capital and becomes their sixth signing of the window after John Heitinga, Genki Haraguchi, Marvin Plattenhardt, Valentin Stocker and Jens Hegeler.
