Serbian midfielder joins Tractor Sazi of Tabriz

Serbian midfielder Marko Basara joined Iran's Tractor Sazi of Tabriz on a one-year contract for an undisclosed fee, Tehran Times daily reported on Monday. The 28-year-old midfielder joined the Iranian team from the Bosnian soccer club Radnik Bijeljina. Also, Iran's Esteghlal soccer club announced the signing of Iraqi midfielder Karrar Jassim on Sunday on a one-year contract, according to the daily. The 26-year-old midfielder had played for the Iranian giant in 2011-2012 season. He also played in Iranian teams of Tractor Sazi of Tabriz and Shahin of Bushehr. Iran's new season soccer competitions will start on Wednesday with the participation of 16 teams. From: XIBHUA
