Vedad Ibisevic scored the only goal as Stuttgart climbed out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win at Hamburg. Bruno Labbadia's men had dropped into the bottom three after Augsburg had shared a goalless draw with Nurnberg in the earlier game. Ibisevic ensured his side were there for only a couple of hours, though, as he struck on the half-hour to grab just Stuttgart's second win in eight league games to start the season. Christian Gentner fed Harnik down the right, before the Austrian crossed into the middle where Ibisevic beat Michael Mancienne to the ball and fired home They have now collected seven points in their past three matches, up to 12th place.
