French light flyweight Jeremy Beccu blasted judges after losing a controversial decision to Kazakh opponent Brzhan Zhakypov in the first round at the Olympics on Tuesday. The 21-year-old was beaten 18-17 by an opponent, who looked as if he had accepted defeat as he stood wiping his eyes, awaiting the score. "I knew I had to also fight against the judges," said Beccu, who stood in the middle of the ring with his hands on his hips after the decision. "It's really unfair. I should have won. Nobody can convince me otherwise." France head coach Jean Savarino was seething. "I'm angry, the decision is not fair. However, the result is there, it's just another injustice."
