Stuttgart's Cristian Molinaro has been banned for three matches following his sending-off in the 2-2 draw at Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday. The German FA confirmed the Italian left-back had been banned for "a crude tackle". The 28-year-old was shown a straight red card for the foul on Andre Schurrle in the 90th minute of the match. Molinaro will now miss the Bundesliga matches against Hertha Berlin, Hannover and Freiburg, but is available for tomorrow's German Cup quarter-final with Bayern Munich.
