While France were busy chalking up a maiden FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup triumph in Azerbaijan, the league action continued unabated around the world. In the newly crowned U-17 champions’ home country, Olympique Lyon maintained their seemingly irresistible run. In the German Bundesliga, FFC Frankfurt bounced back from a shock cup exit, and in England, champions Arsenal added another trophy to their collection.
