Umm salal defeats Al Khor in Qatar stars league

Umm Salal defeated Saturday Al Khor 2-1, in the match held Saturday as part of the 11th week of the Qatar Stars League. Esveraldo Kabore and Otmane El Assas scored for Umm Salal in the 12th and 31st minute. Al Assas' goal was courtesy of a spot kick. Usman Mohammed scored for Al Khor in the 33rd minute. Umm Salal moved temporarily to seventh place with 17 points. Elsewhere in the league, Al Kharaitiyat came back from one goal down to defeat Al-Sailiya in a thrilling encounter. Al Sailiya took the lead in the 34th minute, then Al Kharaitiyat drew level in the second half. They then took the lead, which only lasted for four minutes as Al Sailiya pegged them back immediately. Al Kharaitiyat would not quite however and scored the winner in the 87th minute through Mahmoud Saad. Al Sailiya remain in last place with five points, Al Kharaitiyat moved to 9th place with 10 points.
