
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar on Monday inspected Petro Sport Stadium to check on the security situation before the Egypt Cup final between football rivals Al Ahly and Al Zamalek.
He tasked security forces to take all necessary measures to secure the game and deal with any security situation.
The minister also paid a surprise tour of the Egyptian Museum, Mousky police station and Attaba civil protection department.
Abdel Ghaffar ordered to provide the latest equipment and advanced technologies to enable security forces to secure archaeological sites.
He also tasked the ministry's official to take all measures needed to make it easier for citizens who frequent the police stations.
The minister also stressed on the need to respect citizens and support relations between policemen and the people.
