National Ahly defender Wael Gomaa to retire

National Egyptian team and El-Ahly veteran defender Wael Gomaa has announced he will retire by the end of this season. "This is the right time for retirement," Gomaa tearfully told reporters after Ahly won African Super Cup. Gomaa announced that he would complete this season and then retire. Earlier in the day, the Egyptian giant team won a record-extending sixth Confederation of African Football Super Cup title after beating Sfaxien of Tunisia 3-2 in Cairo. Source: MENA
