Sultan School Under-16 team retained the Dubai Unity Cup recently held in Dubai, UAE. It is for the second time that the school came home winners with the coveted trophy, having competed against other schools from Kuwait, UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Cyprus. Graeme Garrett, Principal of The Sultan's School said: "Through a rich and varied curriculum, the Sultan's School emphasises the importance of teamwork and dedication to achieve success as well as a healthy lifestyle. Team sports such as football instils skills such as leadership, problem solving, self-motivation and performing under pressure that can be transferred from a sporting scenario to life lessons.- He added, "The win could not have been possible without the generous support of Pankaj Khimji. It is victories such as this and the support received that propels our students to excel in academics and sports. We look forward to further trophies and achievements as more year groups are inspired by this triumph.- In recognition of his ongoing and outstanding commitment to The Sultan's School, Pankaj was presented with a signed and framed shirt by members of the team, Munthir Al Kharusi, Ismail Al Balushi, and Hakeem Khusaibi.
