Mike Trout highlighted a Los Angeles Angels comeback with a go-ahead homer in the fourth Friday and the Angels went on to defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-5. The Dodgers took a 5-0 lead before the Angels embarked on a rally that produced their third straight win. It was the fourth loss in a row for the Dodgers. The Angels scored three times in both the second and fourth innings. Erick Aybar drove in a run in both frames, one with a groundout and another with a triple. Aybar's triple cut the Dodgers' lead to 5-4, Bobby Wilson tied it with a sacrifice fly and Trout put the Angels in front with his seventh homer of the season. Torii Hunter added a two-run base hit in the sixth. Despite his early struggles, Dan Haren hung on long enough to get the win. Haren (5-7) surrendered five runs on nine hits in five innings, then left the game with a 6-5 lead. Four Angels relievers worked a scoreless inning each, with Ernesto Frieri coming on in the ninth for his eighth save. Chad Billingsley (4-6) gave up six runs on 10 hits in five frames to blow the lead and suffer the loss.
