The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim scored twice in the bottom of the ninth Tuesday to grab a 6-5 win over the visiting Boston Red Sox. Mike Trout singled with one out to bring in the tying run and send Alberto Callaspo to third base where he scored from on Torii Hunter's sacrifice fly. Trout and Albert Pujols both homered and went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the win. Trout became the first rookie in Major League history to hit 25 homers and tally 40 stolen bases. Kevin Jepsen picked up the win by pitching the ninth inning in relief of Jared Weaver, who allowed five runs – four earned -- on seven hits over seven innings. Weaver struck out five. Alfredo Aceves (2-9) was hung with both the loss and a blown save. Boston starter Clay Buchholz lasted seven innings, allowing four runs on six hits. Jacoby Ellsbury had two hits and scored twice. Jarrod Saltalamacchia hit a solo home run and finished with two RBI. The Angels beat the Red Sox for the sixth consecutive time and ended Boston's seven-game winning streak in Anaheim.
