Ben Revere added three hits, including a pair of run-scoring singles, while Joe Mauer chipped in with two hits and two RBI for Minnesota, which took the opener of a three-game set. Denard Span and Josh Willingham supplied solo homers for the Twins, who banged out 17 hits against 14 for the Phillies. Nick Blackburn (3-4) logged his second straight win after coming off the disabled list, holding Philadelphia to four runs on eight hits over five full innings. Philadelphia starter Kyle Kendrick (2-6) was roughed up for six runs on eight hits, lasting just four frames. Jimmy Rollins went 4-for-5 with two RBI while Michael Martinez added three hits, including a run-scoring single for the Phillies, who fell for the ninth time in 10 games.
