Yonder Alonso hit a two-run homer and finished with three RBI Tuesday in the San Diego Padres' 8-2 win over Houston. Cameron Maybin had three hits and two RBI for the Padres, who have won three of their last four. San Diego scored six unanswered runs in the middle innings, including three in the seventh, when Alonso doubled in Chase Headley from first base and Maybin drove in two with a double. Ross Ohlendorf (3-0) was credited with the win after allowing two runs -- one earned -- on six hits and six strikeouts. Jordan Lyles (2-6) took the loss for the Astros, who have dropped 14 of their last 16. Lyles allowed five runs on 11 hits in six innings. Marwin Gonzalez led the Houston offense with three hits and a run scored. J.D. Martinez went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
