J.A. Happ tossed six solid innings and drove in the go-ahead run Monday, enabling Houston to keep Atlanta winless with an 8-3 verdict over the Braves. After spotting the Braves an early 3-0 lead, Houston came back in the third inning when Travis Buck drove home Jordan Schafer and Jose Altuve with a two-bagger, then scored the equalizer on a Carlos Lee single. Happ (1-0) delivered an RBI single in the next inning put the Astros ahead to stay. The left-hander yielded three runs on six hits over six innings, walking only one and striking out five for Houston, which improved to 3-1 on the young season. The Braves, meanwhile, logged a fourth consecutive loss to start a season for the first time since 1988. Atlanta starter Brandon Beachy (0-1) was saddled with three unearned runs in the setback, surrendering four hits over five innings. Beachy, Brian McCann and Tyler Pastornicky notched RBIs for the Braves.
