Ty Lawson struck for 26 points Tuesday and the Denver Nuggets overcame a big early deficit to get past Detroit 101-94. Lawson also handed out seven assists while Corey Brewer (15 points), JaVale McGee (12) and Andre Miller (11 with seven assists) also keyed the Nuggets' comeback. Denver went down by 17 points in the first quarter but never trailed in the second half en route to evening its five-game road trip at 2-2. The Pistons got 20 points from Brandon Knight but it wasn't enough to prevent their second loss in two nights after also falling to Philadelphia Monday. Jason Maxiell contributed 18 points, six rebounds and six blocked shots for Detroit.
