Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined in pushing Oklahoma City to a big lead Friday and the Thunder easily held on to defeat Utah 106-94. The Thunder took a 16-point advantage into the fourth quarter on their way to a fourth straight win. Utah had captured two in a row. Durant went 9-of-11 from the foul line while scoring 25 points. Westbrook produced 23 points, 13 points and eight assists. Oklahoma City shot 52 percent from the field to overcome 21 turnovers. Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka both had 12 points for the Thunder. Utah placed six players in double figures with Enes Kanter scoring 18 off the bench.
