Undefeated British welterweight Kell Brook will have to wait again for his first world title bout after a scheduled fight with Devon Alexander on February 23 in Detroit was postponed on Monday. Alexander, a 25-year-old American, suffered a biceps injury during training that forced an indefinite postponement of the International Boxing Federation crown he won last October with a unanimous decision over Randall Bailey. It's the second delay for the bout, which had been planned for January 19 in Los Angeles but was pushed back after Brook suffered an ankle injury in December. Brook, a 26-year-old slugger from Sheffield, is 29-0 with 19 knockouts, while Alexander is 24-1 with 13 knockouts. The fight card in Detroit will continue with hometown favorite Cornelius Bundrage, 32-4 with 19 knockouts, defending his IBF junior middleweight crown against fellow American Ishe Smith, 24-5 with 11 knockouts.
