Sean Kilpatrick helped pace Cincinnati to a 27-point halftime lead Thursday and the No. 12 Bearcats cruised to an 87-53 win over Arkansas-Little Rock. Cincinnati is off to an 8-0 start this season, its best opening to a campaign in 13 years. Kilpatrick scored 18 points and took part in a crushing defensive effort. Cincinnati recorded a stunning 23 steals and forced 32 turnovers overall. JaQuon Parker added 14 points for the Bearcats and Cheikh Mbodj had 12. Arkansas-Little Rock (7-4) had won three in a row. Will Neighbour, James White and Ben Dillard all scored 10 points for the Trojans. Cincinnati is one of 18 unbeaten teams remaining in major college basketball. No. 4 Syracuse was the only other one of those teams in action on Thursday and the Orange also recorded a lopsided victory.
