Brandon Paul netted 14 points and D.J. Richardson added 11 Tuesday, helping 10th-ranked Illinois shake off Norfolk State 64-54. Paul also grabbed eight rebounds and Tracy Abrams added nine points for the Illini (11-0), who remained undefeated after pulling away down the stretch with a 10-3 run. Illinois managed to shoot just 35 percent from the field, but dominated the glass with 15 offensive rebounds to provide the difference. Norfolk State (6-6) was led by Rashid Gaston with 12 points and seven boards.
