Jeff Withey notched a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds Tuesday and No. 8 Kansas posted a comfortable 87-59 victory over Richmond. Ben McLemore (14 points, seven boards), Travis Releford and Naadir Tharpe (11 points each) also reached double figures as the Jayhawks (9-1) cruised to their eighth straight win. Kansas used an 18-0 run in the first half to put the game away. The Spiders (9-3) were paced by Derrick Williams with 14 points with five rebounds.
