Rodney Williams pumped in 21 points Monday, sparking Minnesota to a 78-60 National Invitation Tournament win over second-seeded Miami-Florida. Williams went 9-of-10 from the field and grabbed five rebounds while Andre Hollins and Joe Coleman each added 14 points and six boards for the sixth-seeded Minnesota (21-14). The Golden Gophers advance to Wednesday's NIT quarterfinals, where they will take on Middle Tennessee at Murfreesboro for a chance to advance to the semifinal round at Madison Square Garden.Rion Brown scored 16 points for the Hurricanes (20-13), who managed only 34.4 shooting in the loss.
