LaQuinton Ross and Deshaun Thomas combined for 36 points and 16 rebounds Saturday, powering No. 4 Ohio State to a 70-43 rout of Northern Kentucky. Ross put in 22 points and grabbed eight boards. Thomas supplied 14 and eight. Sam Thompson also reached double figures with 10 points for the Buckeyes (5-1), who bounced back from a Wednesday loss to Duke. The Norse (0-5) got 11 points and nine rebounds from Jalen Billups but managed only 27.1 percent shooting from the field.
