Markel Brown had 17 points and came up with five of Oklahoma State's 15 steals Wednesday, lifting the No. 24 Cowboys to a 69-44 win over Texas-Arlington. Oklahoma State (9-1) forced 30 turnovers in winning its fourth straight since suffering a loss to Virginia Tech. Phil Forte contributed 13 points for the Cowboys and both Le'Bryan Nash and Marcus Smart had 10. Oklahoma State raced to a 17-5 lead and held a 19-point advantage at halftime. The Mavericks (5-3) were led by Jamel Outler with 14 points. The teams have met 12 times with the Cowboys having won 11 of those games.
