Johnny Manziel fired three touchdown passes and ran for two more Saturday, carrying 10th-ranked Texas A&M past Sam Houston State 47-28. Manziel burnished his Heisman Trophy credentials with the performance, which included 263 yards on 14-of-20 passing and 102 yards on 16 carries for the Aggies (9-2). The signal-caller became the first freshman in college football history to throw for 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in a single season as Texas A&M won its fourth straight. Mike Evans hauled down six passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns for the Aggies. The Bearkats (8-3) were led by Brian Bell, who compiled 151 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 14-of-30 passing.
