England beat New Zealand by six wickets in the World Twenty20 Super Eights group one match at Pallekele stadium on Saturday. Batting first, New Zealand managed 148-6 with James Frankling top-scoring with 50. Steven Finn took a career best 3-16. England knocked off the target in 18.5 overs, with Luke Wright (76) and Eoin Morgan (30) sharing a third wicket stand of 89. West Indies and Sri Lanka meet in the same group later Saturday.
