Tottenham boss is the overwhelming favourite for the England job, but the West Brom manager will also be contacted as the Three Lions' hierarchy keep their options open. The FA will make approaches to Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp and West Brom manager Roy Hodgson about taking over the vacant England job according to The Daily Mail.It is thought both candidates will be spoken to in the next few weeks but neither can expect to receive the kind of wages that former Three Lions boss, Fabio Capello, did.It is believed the FA will contact Tottenham and West Brom first, and then speak to the managers if granted permission. The FA are keen to have a permanent manager in place for Euro 2012 but also wanted to ensure they didn’t disrupt any club’s season by approaching their manager too early.Stuart Pearce, who took temporary charge of the national side after Capello’s sacking, ruled himself out as a long-term candidate but offered to lead England during June’s tournament in Poland and Ukraine. But it appears a long-term replacement should be appointed by the end of the month, giving the new manager about six weeks before England’s first group game against France on 11 June.
