Emiliano Bonfigli scored his first MLS goal in the 72nd minute Wednesday, allowing Real Salt Lake to salvage a 1-1 tie with FC Dallas. Bonfigli's goal came 3 minutes after he entered the contest. He collected a through ball and beat Chris Seitz with the tying goal. The Dallas score came on a penalty kick by Brek Shea just before halftime. Another Dallas goal was disallowed by an offside call. Dallas moved into a tie with Vancouver for third place in the Western Conference at 3-3-2. Salt Lake (5-3-1) shares the lead in the West with San Jose, although the Earthquakes have played two fewer games than Salt Lake.
