Hamilton on pole for Singapore GP

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton claimed his fifth pole position of the season with a time of 1min 46.362sec in qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix on Saturday. Hamilton, pushing for his second world title, was nearly half a second quicker than Williams' Pastor Maldonado, with defending world champion Sebastian Vettel on the second row alongside McLaren's Jenson Button.
