The New Orleans Hornets sent forward Hakim Warrick to the Charlotte Bobcats Tuesday in exchange for guard Matt Carroll. Warrick, acquired from Phoenix in the off-season, has played in just one game for the Hornets this season, but has averaged 9.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in a seven-year NBA career that started in Memphis and also has included stops in Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago. Carroll, in his ninth NBA season, also has played in just one game this year. He has averaged 6.6 points and 1.9 points in his pro career, which has included time with Portland, San Antonio and Dallas.
