Japan down Qatar in FIBA Asia Cup semifinals

Qatar’s senior basketball team suffered a setback when they lost 66-73 to the hosts Japan in the semifinals clash of the FIBA Asia Cup 2012 at Ota Gymnasium in Tokyo on Friday. Friday’s defeat made the National basketball team missed the chance to reach the final round, accordingly they will lock horns against Philippines for the third place on Saturday.
