Frankel, one of the world's leading racehorses, made it 13 wins in a row by coming home first by a crushing seven lengths in the Juddmonte International Stakes at York on Wednesday. The mile-and-a-quarter race was the first time Frankel, ridden by Tom Queally and trained by Henry Cecil, had competed beyond a mile in distance but the extra trip proved no problem for the colt, owned by Prince Khalid Abdullah. "I suspected they'd go a good gallop, but we had our plan in place," Queally told the BBC after Frankel remained undefeated. "It panned out nicely -- he won ever so well. It's a fantastic training performance." Cecil, who is receiving treatment for cancer, added: "It was fantastic and it is great for (the county of) Yorkshire (in northern England). They support racing and they deserved to see him. It makes me feel 20 years better." Frankel, sent off at odds of 1/10 was hardly troubled and, leading two furlongs out, he pulled away for victory. The "Usain Colt" of horseracing has now raken his career earnings to over £2 million ($3.15 million, 2.54 million euros). Farhh pipped St Nicholas Abbey by a nose in a tight race for second place.
