Either Miami or San Francisco will host Super Bowl L, with Houston in the mix for Super Bowl LI the following year, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Tuesday. Goodell told reporters at the NFL Fall Owners Meetings in Chicago decisions on where both the 50th and 51st Super Bowls are to be held will be made in spring. "The bids will be presented and owners will vote on both of those games at the May meeting in 2013," the commissioner said. The owners will vote between San Francisco and Miami for the right to host Super Bowl L, then will vote at the same meeting on the host of Super Bowl LI between Houston and the runner-up from Super Bowl L, Goodell said. The South Florida area has hosted 10 previous Super Bowls, including five at the Miami Dolphins' current home, Sun Life Stadium. The five others were held at the since-demolished Orange Bowl. Should San Francisco get the nod, the game would be held at a 49ers new stadium now under construction in Santa Clara, Calif. Houston has hosted two previous Super Bowls, in 1974 and 2004.
