Chris Johnson, acquired in a weekend trade, hit a grand slam in his first game for Arizona Monday, boosting the Diamondbacks over the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-2. Arizona picked up Johnson from the Houston Astros prior to Tuesday's non-waiver trade deadline and the third baseman paid immediate dividends, blasting a bases-loaded shot in the fifth inning to give the Diamondbacks a 7-0 lead. Paul Goldschmidt unleashed a three-run shot in the first while Gerardo Parra went 3-for-5 with a run scored for Arizona, which took the opener of a three-game series. Trevor Cahill (9-9) yielded only one run on six hits in a six-inning effort, issuing three walks while striking out four. Dodgers starter Aaron Harang (7-6) was lit up for seven runs on nine hits over five frames. Matt Kemp went 3-for-4 with an RBI double as Los Angeles saw its three-game winning streak snapped. The Dodgers came into the game tied with San Francisco atop the National League West.
