Carlos Ruiz cracked a three-run homer and Chase Utley went 3-for-5 with two RBI Saturday, powering the Philadelphia Phillies past Colorado 8-5. Utley's RBI single in the first inning gave the Phillies a quick lead and Ruiz followed with his blast later in the frame, handing the Phillies a quick 4-0 lead. Pitcher Vance Worley (5-5) added a two-run double in the sixth and the Phillies hung on to even their three-game series at Coors Field. Worley held the Rockies to two runs on eight hits in a 6 2/3-inning effort, walking two and striking out two. After the Phillies bullpen allowed three late runs, Jonathan Papelbon came on to record the final five outs for his 19th save. Colorado starter Jeremy Guthrie (3-9) was touched for four runs on seven hits through 4 2/3 innings. Wilin Rosario slammed a three-run homer for the Rockies.
