Antawn Jamison came off the bench to pace a tremendous shooting performance Friday that brought the Los Angeles Lakers a 122-103 win over Denver. The Lakers ran up 71 first-half points and hit 54 percent of their field goal attempts for the game. Jamison went 13-of-19 from the field and scored 33 points as part of an effort that lifted Los Angeles back to the .500 mark. Denver, playing its second game in as many nights, has dropped three in a row. Dwight Howard was 12-of-16 from the floor and scored 28 points while Jodie Meeks added 21 points off the bench. Kobe Bryant, bothered this week by flu-like symptoms, hit just 5-of-15 from the field in 37 minutes and produced a season-low 14 points. Danilo Gallinari scored 19 points for the Nuggets.
