Matt Bryant's 40-yard field goal in the closing seconds Sunday enabled Atlanta to remain undefeated, handing the Falcons a 30-28 decision over Carolina. Bryant's boot came with 5 seconds left, capping a desperation drive in which Matt Ryan moved the ball 99 yards in 59 seconds. Its key play was its first -- Roddy White's 59-yard pass reception. Ryan amassed 369 yards with three touchdowns and a pick-off, going 25-of-40 through the air as the Falcons got off to their first 4-0 start since 2004. White finished with 169 yards on eight grabs while Michael Turner contributed 171 yards of total offense in the win. Cam Newton passed for 215 yards with two TDs and carried the ball nine times for 86 yards and a score for Carolina (1-3).
